BIOGRAPHY:
I am a graduate of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, the seminary for the training of Reform Rabbis. Since 1968, I have served the Jewish community of New York City. I have served as Senior Rabbi of the Riverdale Temple. I have also been the Rabbi of the New Synagogue in Manhattan. I am currently the Rabbi of the Synagogue for Spiritual Judaism in New York City.
One of the great blessings of my rabbinical work has been to guide thousands of couples in creating a wedding ceremony that profoundly reflects their vision of their marriage and their life together. It has been a great joy for me to be with so many couples on the most significant day of their lives and to share their happiness with them and their families
I was one of the first Rabbis to perform inter-faith marriages. My deep belief is that religion today must be inclusive and embracing of all people.
The wedding ceremonies I perform are warm, loving, dignified, intelligent and beautiful. I am also a singer and can include the beautiful chanting of the Hebrew prayers.
