Johanna Kaestner
Johanna founded Adobe Creek Publishing of Palo Alto in 1990 and published the first edition of By Recommendation Only , covering businesses on the Southern Peninsula. Since then she has published a guide covering San Francisco, Marin and the Central Peninsula, another covering the Greater East Bay, and continues to update each edition on a timely basis.
The author's insight, commitment, personal drive, and journalistic ethics are not often found in today's media. Her writing is honest, clear, and to the point. She incorporates thousands of hours of research, personal interviews, and critiques from clients and peers into the quick reference guide that makes event planning easy. Her intimate knowledge of the industry has contributed to her expertise as a wedding and event resource consultant, a service which she also offers.
